Pooh Egg

Made this with a Pooh egg cutter. I made an egg sheet, used the cutter to get the shapes and give it face features peanut butter. I filled a sauce pen hubby got from Taiwan some time ago with peanut butter. I used chocolate chips for the eyes and nose.

Bento #29

Prepared this simple snack yesterday evening before we went to Inlaw's for dinner. J carried his school bag and asked for a snack box. So I took few minutes to do this.

Grapes, natto and Orange flavour polky. I got this Thomas lunch box from a bento swap with 3lilangels. It's J's favourite now.

Madagascar II Bento set

I got this Madagascar II bento set during a movie event. There's a booth set up prior the movie. I was attracted to the tumbler as I was told the plastic that tupperware used is long lasting unlike the usual plastic water bottles and it has lifetime warranty. If I decided to change for a new tumbler or other item, I can use tupperware product to ask for a change or credit note to get other items which I want. So I guess it'll be a good buy. The set consist of the lunch box, snack cup and tumbler. I got the other 2 bigger round containers at a cheaper price as I got the bento set. Was thinking can either use the containers for myself since it's air tight so can be quite useful or give to friends as Christmas present for their children. The small purple tumbler is a gift from the seller when I got the tupperware stuff.

Just want to share what I did for J's dinner today. I got a set of alphabet cutters recently and J kept pestering me to use the cutters for him. So I made use of the cutters to form his name using carrots.

Bento #28

Made this for today's dinner for J. I stir fry some minced meat and used the bear silicon cup from Sharon to make the food more interesting. I got a set of nori punchers from Hokkaido so made use of the puncher to give the onigiri faces. I used the Hello Kitty lunch plate with cover for today's dinner. I like this lunch plate as it comes with a cover, let J open the dinner himself. It'll surprise him more.

Great Thanks to 3lilangels

I heard that the 100 yen shop in KL have the quail egg molds. Seeing they have cute quail egg molds, I asked 3lilangels to get some items for me in return I'll get somethings for her from Sg. So we had a bento swap. What you see here is only part of the items she got for me. She got some items for my sister in law as well, but I didnt manage to take pic of the items before gave them to her.The quail egg molds and lunch boxes are from 100 yen shop. The lunch box at the bottom sell the compartments separately, find it'll be useful so ask for the compartments as well. Happy to know that 1o0 yen shop have the Thomas lunch box too, my boy love Thomas. The spiderman pasta is a surprise gift. J and my niece love pasta. Told sister in law, we'll pack the pasta for lunchboxes to let the children to share.

This silicon cup is also a gift from 3lilangels. Isn't it cute? She gave us 2 bear silicon cups, so gave 1 to sister in law. Both of us were very happy and kept exclaiming how cute it is when we saw it.

These are the items I asked 3lilangels to get for me from a online shop in Malaysia. The postage is much cheaper to send to Malaysian then to Sg. Very kind of her to help me to order and get all these items to send to her sister, Wendy. Thanks Wendy.

Isn't it wonderful to know someone who has the same interest as you and help to get feed your addiction.

Bento #27

Today's snack consist of Disney pasta with powdered natto, carrot sticks, natto (looks like peanuts) and sweet corn.

I stirred in margarine after the pasta is cooked. Instead of using powdered cheese as usual, I used powdered natto for a change. As usual, J finished the snack for today. Glad that he likes the natto.

Bento #25 & #26

Prepared food for hubby and J this morning. Made hubby sandwich using multigrain bread with butter and fruit jam. I packed some grapes and cherry tomato as well.

This is J's snack for today. I steam some potato, wanted to sprinkle some powdered natto for him but I forgot. I blanched some broccoli, Justin likes to have mayonnaise with the broccoli so I packed it in the orange maybonnaise case. There are strawberries, grapes and cherry tomato included for today's snack as well.

Bento #24

The snack box consists of strawberries, multigrain bread and carrot sticks. I spread cream cheese and sprinkle powdered natto onto the bread before rolling. I read that natto is a very nutritious food, so tried to sprinkle some onto the bread for a new taste.

Bento #23

Today's snack consist of grapes, quail eggs, underneath the quail eggs is the edamame and Holloween theme pasta I just got from Muji yesterday. Cant resist not buying cute looking pasta, so grab it the moment I saw the pasta. J asked for pasta when I asked what he wants for today's snack.

I created a balloon and flower grapes with the help of cute looking food picks, a small animal fork for the pasta. I stirred in margarine and furikake for the pasta before packed into the lunch box.
