Sponge Cakes

I attended a cake baking workshop last Sunday by Gina, Kitchen Capers. Tried to do what I've learnt. But I modified the recipe. As I have remaining self raising flour so I made used of self raising flour instead of plain flour in Gina's recipe, also tried to use shredded cheddar cheese. But I think I added too little cheese, cant really taste the cheese in the cake but the texture is very soft. I made used of my cute silicon moulds for the cakes.

I poured the remaining batter into a loaf pan to bake this

Bento #51

I made this on Wednesday. It has been a long time since I made tortillas again. I melted shredded cheddar cheese as the filings, blanch broccoli and prepared tartar sauce in the pooh container for the broccoli.

Mickey Mouse

Recently I got these from the Hello Kitty shop in Chinatown point. Still waiting for the rest of the items I ordered to arrive.

Bento #50

This was done last Friday. Pasta with margarine and parmesan cheese, quail eggs and pear.

I think the pear is from Australia, it's a mini pear. Size is small and it's very sweet and juicy. This is the 1st time I tried this pear, will get it again.

Bento #49

This lunch box is done on last Thursday. Brown rice pasta mixed with margarine and parmesan cheese, blanched broccoli, tartar sauce in pooh container.

I packed them in this Thomas lunch box. It's a birthday present to J from sister-in-law. It comes with a thermal lunch bag and water bottle.

Bento #48

This was done last Monday. I packed mixed of dinosaur pasta and brown rice pasta. The brown rice pasta has shapes of animals and vehicles. I like it as it's brown rice so healthier than normal pasta. I also prepared carrots and cauliflower in the lunch box.

The nowadays lunch boxes / snack boxes become part of J's dinner. He will always want to have sometime for him after school, must have a lunch box for him. If not, he'll be disappointed.

Bento #47
