Fried Rice & Soup
Prepared these for J's lunch as he has lesson this morning and by the time the lesson ended, he'll be very hungry. Today's menu is soup and fried rice. I used minced meat, carrots, fish and powdered ikan bilis for the soup. I did the scramble egg till almost well done before I added the cooked rice. I used the thermal food jar to keep the food warm. I pre-heat the thermal food jar before I pack the food in. It will help to keep the food warm for longer hours.

Hello Kitty Breakfast
Wanted to try out the new bread cutter I bought so made this breakfast for hubby. Prepared the breakfast in Hello Kitty lunch boxes.
Hello Kitty bread with ham & cheese, grapes with Hello Kitty food picks. The bread cutter I have is larger than the Gardenia bread I got, so end up have square shaped face Hello Kitty.
I used another Hello Kitty bread cutter to make this 3D Hello Kitty bread for my boy. Used the bread cutter to cut the body and legs of Hello Kitty, sprinkle powdered cheese and toast the bread. The Hello Kitty can sit 3D only after toasting when it's not so soft. J looked very interested in the bread and ate it.

Bear Breakfast
I tried using the silicon mold for pancake again as I did not really do it well the last time. I tried the bear mold for the first time. The mold can be used for pancake or egg, I tried it on beaten egg the last time, very easy to do. It's tricky for pancake as the consistency of the pancake batter has to be right, so do have a nicer pancake without it going burnt or not well-cook.
We got the kueh balu from JB Jusco, hubby's family like it very much. It's nice and cheap. Decorated the bear's face with cheddar cheese, got the cheese flower ears using small cookie cutters, got the cheese eyes with straw. The size of the straw is just nice for eyes. The Hello Kitty container consist of maple syrup. This breakfast is for hubby to bring to work.

Animals with Cute Food Picks
Prepared this breakfast for hubby to bring to work. Try to find a chance to use the cute food picks I bought few weeks ago, I used the zoo animal food picks. I also have the sea animals food picks, maybe will use them the next time.
Top: bread rolled with cheese sausage and secure with food picks.
Bottom: agar agar with grapes, made the agar agar with Heinz fruit juice. Edamame, hard boiled egg and soy sauce in the small bottle
I got this 2-tier lunch box when we went to a tourist attraction in Japan last year. It has a compartment for cutlery. I put a spoon in the compartment so can use it for the agar agar.

Hearty Breakfast
Has been quite some time since I last made breakfast for hubby, so decided to do something for him and at the same time can make use of the new cookie cutters I got from Daiso.
Heart shaped hard boiled egg with a soy sauce bottle beside it. White wheat bread with sesame spread, small cheddar cheese heart as deco as I find the bread looks too plain.

Disney Breakfast
After trying the cookie cutters on cookies, I tried to use on bread this morning. I am happy with the result and J wanted to eat his breakfast whe he saw his breakfast on the table.
There is sesame butter underneath the strawberry. Instead of having the bread with the sesame butter, he likes the spread with strawberry too.

Lunch
J & ZY is meeting today for their weekly gym session, so thinking of preparing animal shaped pasta as ZY hv yet to try such pasta before. I decorated the hard boiled egg with nori that I used a craft puncher. It's actually a musical note, but realised looked like eyes after I took the picture.
Top bento
Left: hard boiled egg. i removed the egg yolk, mix it with mayo and filled into the egg again so to be different from usual; decorated with nori. Edamame in the blue container. Almond jelly.
Right: Animal shaped pasta with powdered cheese, topped with nori and bonita flakes. Steamed carrots

Collection
Suppose to go straight from house to gym this afternoon, but I went out earlier so can drop by to my favorite shop, DAISO! I keep wanting to see if can get any other cute stuff for my bentos. I managed to find these.
I just couldn't resist not buying when I saw these stuff, especially the animal headed picks and sauce bottles. Even though I already have similar bottles and picks. They're too cute to let go!
Was thinking I can use the mayo containers arefor other food like jelly or small biscuits as a surprise in my bentos.

I got these Disney characters cookie cutters from Yahoo auction recommended by SW.
Note: friends who wonder which Daiso I usually got those cute stuff from, I just realised that Plaza Singapore seems to have more collections than other branches. So I told hubby we can just visit Plaza Singapore Daiso in future.

Toast
Wanted to make breakfast for hubby this morning, thinking of having something slightly different. Saw such toast bread from somewhere so decided to give it a try.
I used a cookie cutter to cut out 2 'holes' on a bread and poured beaten egg into the 'holes'. As I poured to much beaten egg into one of the holes in the top bread, the shape of the egg can't be seen clearly. I tried again for the 2nd bread, find it looked much better. Have to beat the egg well so to be able to pour easily and neatly cooked egg. I made a triple layer sandwich for hubby. Top layer is the bread with 2 shaped egg-in-the-hole, 2nd layer is bread spread with sesame butter, bottom is bread with 1 shaped egg-in-the-hole.

Animal Dinner
Bought a packet of animal shaped pasta so was thinking can try making a theme dinner for J. I used bear-shaped rice mold to get the shaped scramble egg and used carrot for the features. I stirred in powdered cheese after I cooked and drained the pasta add bonita flakes and small elephant & rabbit cut out nori as topping. I used the fish-shaped cutter that I got from Daiso to cut the carrots into fishes and lay them semi-round the pasta. J asked for the carrot fishes the moment he saw it.
