Bento #46
Made this for J's snack today. Tried making baked bread cup for the first time. I added in cooked fish and shredded cheddar as toppings. I also packed in the mango flavoured fish head nian gao and grapes. After I packed the food then I realised today's snack box is very yellow looking.
Past few days he only had fruits as his after school snack so didnt take pic of it.

Bento #45
As we were rushing for time so only manage to make simple lunchbox for J & ZY on the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Both have the same food, only the shape of the nian gao is different.
I prepared blueberries, nian gao, quail egg, cheese sausage and pasta. I packed parmesan cheese in the furikake bottles.

Nian Gao
I went to learn making nian gao from Gina, at Kitchen Capers. So made use of what I learnt for this year's Chinese New Year.
I bought 2 sizes of boxes to pack the nian gao as gifts for relatives and friends. This is the small box. Forgot to paste the 'fu' sticker in the center of the box before I take pic.
This is the larger box. Somehow the colors look lighter in pic, the actual thing look brighter colors.

Bento #43
This is J's after school snack for today. Blueberry and tortillas with shredded cheddar cheese.
I cut a piece of tortillas in to halves, place half piece onto a nonstick pan and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and heat over medium. I cover the pan so the cheese will melt faster. When most of the cheese melted, I placed another piece of tortillas on top of the cheese and pan fry both side. When it's ready I use a scissors to cut into smaller pieces so can fit into the lunch box.

Bento #40 & Bento #41
Made these for J and ZY on last Friday. Both of them are pasta lovers, so SH & me brought lots of pasta for them. This dinosaur pasta is from 3lilangels, as she know I like to get cute pasta for J. Sweet of 3lilangels to get extra pack of pasta for SH too.
Both have the same food except J has more carrots as he's a carrot lover. He even finished up ZY's carrots as she did want to eat it.

Bento #38 & Bento #39
Made these for J & ZY as their after school snacks last Thursday. Told SH that I going to prepare vegetables lunch box for J, SH told me to do one for ZY as well. ZY is not a veg eater, so usually she'll not eat any veg at all. But recently ZY willing to eat veg only if she's involve in the preparation.
The lunch box at the top is for J, grapes, potato and broccoli, mayonnaise is provided in the mayo case.
The bottom lunch box is for ZY, the Hello Kitty bottle contained parmesan cheese, she's a cheese lover.
As usual J finished everything in the lunch box, ZY finished the fruits but left the veg intact.

Bento #36
This lunch box is made yesterday. The lunch box consist of steam sweet corn, cheese sausage, grapes and peanut butter sandwich.
I used the elephant and dolphin food picks to beautify the sausage, so not to look so boring. Finally have grapes in fridge yesterday, so pack them into the lunchbox, made use of food picks to make it look like balloon and flower. I used a cookie cutter and cut out a bunny shape for the bread and used seaweed puncher to give the bread facial expression.

Bento #34
Made this for J as his after school snack yesterday. On the 1st day of school, he asked if I cook anything for him to bring to school, so decided to make something for him on the 2nd day.
We got a small pack of rooster shape pasta from Hokkaido last year. The pasta suits him best as his horoscope is rooster :) His lunchbox consists of pasta, quail eggs and carrot sticks. The Hello Kitty container is parmesan cheese.
