Shinkansen Lunch Box with Cooler Bag

I like lunch box, especially if it comes with a cooler bag. It'll be my want-to-get item. Saw this lunch box with cooler bag at Isetan Scotts when went shopping with SH. Both of us like this lunch box and got it together.
It's a 1-tier Shinakansen lunch box with 2 small side dish containers. The side dish containers lids seems to be able to close tight, not sure if it's leak proof. It comes with a ice pack too.

Simple Lunch

Today J & ZY having their weekly class, so I made simple lunch for ourselves.
J & ZY have the same food, egg pancake with capsicum and carrot underneath the sushi rice. I decorate the rice with powdered seaweed using the stencils I bought recently.
For SH & myself, tuna triangle sushi, tomato and mushroom fishball.

Silicon Molds and Lunch Box

I have new molds and lunch box added to my collection. The silicon molds can be used as jelly mold or side dish cups in lunch boxes.
This is Hello Kitty silicon mold, I intend to use it for jelly so can have Hello Kitty face on the jelly too.

Saw this lunch box from Daiso recently, like the small size. Just nice for J.

Lunch at the Zoo

I prepared these this morning for our zoo outing. I packed the food in a cooler bag with 2 bottles of water. I freeze the water the night before and put into the cooler bag before we left, by the time we want to have a drink with our meal, it's cooling enough for the hot weather.

J's Lunch: Animal shaped pasta in Napolean pasta sauce, stir fry chicken with capsicum, grapes and edamame.
Our Lunch: chicken wrap and edamame

I packed my boy's lunch in a Hello Kitty 2-tier lunch box. His Shinkansen spoon and fork can be keep in the top compartment. I made him animal pasta with ready-to-eat napolean pasta sauce. I got the sauce from supermarket recently. I stir fry chicken with margarine to have a bit more taste. I used the stir fry chicken with capsicum for the wrap and used decorative aluminum foil from Daiso to pack the wrap individually for easy eating.

Hello Kitty Carrot Cutters

I got these carrot cutters some time ago, but keep forgetting to post the cutters here. I used it to cut some carrots for my boy's lunch so find some nicely cut ones to post here.

There are 2 cutters in a set, consist of the outline of Hello Kitty face and whole body. The cutters also hv the details of Hello Kitty, so makes very nice carrot. Some made use of this cutter as cookie cutters and other food, it's up to your imagination.

Hello Kitty Rice Mold Set

I like this Hello Kitty rice mold set very much. It comes with 3 rice molds, shapes of Hello Kitty, Rabbit and bear, 2 seaweed cutters and the heart shape cutter that's for cutting food into ribbon, flower and the bears ears. The seaweed cutters is for the details of the characters' face features and Hello Kitty whiskers.

Even my 2 years old boy wanted to use the rice mold the minute he saw me brought it home. It shows how cute it is.

Sandwich Lunch Box

This Shinkansen sandwich lunch box can be collapse for easy storage. I quite like the idea of such design. But I think it needs a band to secure the lunch box, as the catch is not secure enough.

New Collection

Today is bento shopping day, manage to get some nice bento stuff.

Have been searching for these spoons for a very very long time. I also have the forks of the same design.

Jap Curry for Dinner

I made japanese curry for the 1st time from those curry cube. It's an easy to make curry, doesn't take much time to prepare this dish. I used carrot and boneless chicken drumstick. I used cherry tomato juice to cook the rice. I think I used too little tomato, the color doesn't show much in the rice. I packed the dinner into Mickey Mouse 2-tier lunch box to surprise J. He likes his dinner and finished everything.

Pizza

I saw NTUC selling apple cocktail so decided to get some to try. I use it to make breakfast for today, a simpler pizza. I use a rolling pin to flatten the bread, spread mayonnaise as I don't have tomato sauce, add cooked button mushroom, yellow capsicum, apple cocktail and cheddar cheese. I put the pizza into oven and heat till the cheese melt.

I stir fry the capsicum and button mushroom with water; boiled the apple cocktail, so no oil is needed.

I packed the breakfast into the Mickey Mouse handy case which is requested by J.

Soy Pancake

Have been making soy bean milk on weekends recently, I read that the residue of the soy bean (okara) can be used in cooking and baking. I kept the okara in fridge and tried using them to make soy pancake this morning.

I used a star-shaped silicon mold to make the star soy pancake. I spread sesame butter onto the soy pancake and decorated it with chocolate chips for the eyes and cheese as the mouth.

The soy pancake as the main dish, laughing cow cheese and homemade yogurt as side dishes.
